Product Description
Hot-dip galvanised corrugated roof solar panel mounting bracket is a tailor-made support system for corrugated metal roofs (e.g. trapezoidal corrugated panels, corrugated panels, etc.). It is made of hot-dip galvanised steel (zinc layer thickness ≥ 85 μm, in accordance with ASTM A123), and fixes solar panels by means of a clamping or penetrating mounting solution. The main structure of the bracket is galvanised at a high temperature to provide superior corrosion resistance against salt spray, acid rain and industrial pollution. Adaptable to roof crest pitch 50-300mm, support 5°~30° tilt adjustment, compatible with mainstream solar panel size (maximum panel width 1.2m), suitable for agricultural greenhouses, factories warehouses, car parks and other scenarios, with a design life of more than 25 years.
Product Advantage
1.Extreme corrosion resistance
Hot-dip galvanised coating provides full protection and passes ISO 9227 salt spray test ≥ 1500 hours without red rust, which is 3 times longer than ordinary electro-galvanised coating.
2. Corrugated Roof Special Adaptation
The clamps are designed to fit the shape of the corrugated roof crests, providing even pressure distribution and preventing deformation of the roof or abrasion of the coating.
3. High load and wind resistance performance
Static load ≥ 5000Pa (approx. 510kg/m²), wind resistance up to 150mph (240km/h), UL 2703 certified.
4. Quick and non-destructive installation
Clamp-on solutions require no drilling, and penetrations are equipped with EPDM waterproof gaskets + silicone seals to protect roof integrity.
5.Flexible Expandability
Modular rail system supports horizontal/vertical expansion of multiple rows of solar panels to meet future expansion needs.
6.Environmental Economy
100% recyclable materials, maintenance-free design reduces total life cycle costs and is RoHS compliant.

Installation Instructions
Step by step guide:
1.Tools preparation:
Torque spanner, special jig for corrugated roofs, laser level, EPDM waterproof gasket, silicone sealant, galvanised steel cutter.
2.Roof Assessment
Confirm corrugated roof type (crest height, pitch), load capacity (≥30kg/m²) and corrosion, clean installation area.
3.Fixture Positioning
According to the solar panel layout, mark fixture positions along the crests (spacing ≤ 1.2m), avoiding gutters or weak areas.
4.Installation base
Clamping type: Snap the galvanised fixture into the crest and lock it with a torque spanner to 15-20Nm to ensure no slippage.
Penetration type: Install galvanised base after drilling, embed EPDM gasket and apply silicone to prevent water penetration.
5. Fixing the guide rail
Connect the hot dipped galvanised guide rail to the base, adjust the level and lock the bolts, cut the excess part (the cuts need to be painted with anti-rust paint).
6.Adjusting the tilt angle
Use the adjustable bracket to set the optimum angle (recommended local latitude ±5°), lock the angle fixing device.
7.Install the solar panel
Embed the panels into the rails and fix them using stainless steel clamps to avoid excessive pressure on the edges of the panels.
8.Sealing Test
Apply adhesive twice at the penetration mounting points and carry out a 24-hour drench test to check the robustness of all joints.
9.Safety Tips:
Wear non-slip shoes and safety belt, only step on the peaks of the wave, avoid stepping on the valleys to cause deformation.
Suspend the operation in extreme weather (high temperature/ice and snow) to prevent the metal from expanding and contracting, which may affect the accuracy of the installation.

FAQ
Q1: Is it compatible with all corrugated roof types?
A: It is compatible with common types such as Trapezoidal, Ribbed, etc. It is necessary to provide the crest height and pitch parameters to confirm the fixture match.
Q2: Will the installation damage the waterproof layer of the roof?
A: The clamping solution does not require drilling and protects the integrity of the roof; the penetration type adopts EPDM+silicone double sealing and is UL 790 waterproof certified.
Q3: What is the maximum load capacity?
A: Static load ≥5000Pa (approx. 510kg/m²), dynamic wind rating 240km/h, meets AS/NZS 1170.2 standard.
Q4: Does it need regular maintenance?
A: No maintenance is required for the hot-dipped galvanised layer. It is recommended to check the clamp tightness, sealant status and rail connection points every 2 years.
Q5: How long is the warranty period of the bracket system?
A: The hot-dip galvanised structure is guaranteed for 25 years and the waterproof fittings are guaranteed for 10 years with TÜV Rheinland certification report.
Q6: Can it be installed on an existing rusted corrugated roof?
A: Rusted areas need to be treated first (sanding + anti-rust paint) to ensure that the structural strength of the roof is up to standard before installation.
Q7: Does it support DIY installation?
A: Clamping solutions can be installed by yourself, but the torque values need to be strictly followed; penetration type is recommended to be operated by professionals to ensure the sealing.
Q8: Which is better, hot-dip galvanising or zinc-aluminium-magnesium coating?
A: Hot-dip galvanising is cheaper and suitable for general environments; zinc-aluminium-magnesium (e.g. ZnAlMg) is more corrosion resistant and recommended for high salt spray/industrial pollution areas.
Q9: How to ensure wind resistance after installation?
A: Wind-resistant cables can be added or weighted clamps can be selected to ensure compliance with local building codes (e.g. IBC 2018).
Q10: Is it compatible with microinverter systems?
A: The rail is designed with a reserved cable slot to adapt to the wiring needs of mainstream microinverters such as Enphase and APsystems.
