Product Description
The aluminum metal roof solar bracket is a non-intrusive mounting system designed for standing seam metal roofs, corrugated metal sheet roofs, etc. It securely fastens solar panels to metal roof surfaces through patented clamping technology or sealed penetration fixing solutions. The product is made of anodised aluminium alloy or galvanised steel and is suitable for a wide range of metal roof types (e.g. standing seam, trapezoidal panels, etc.) without the need for welding or extensive drilling, protecting the waterproofing and structural integrity of the roof. The system supports 5°~45° tilt angle adjustment and is compatible with mainstream solar panel sizes, suitable for residential, agricultural greenhouses, industrial plants and other scenarios.
Features & Benefits
1.Roof installation without damage
Clamping fixtures (e.g. S-5 clamps, standing seam clamps) designed specifically for metal roofs eliminate the need for drilling, avoiding the risk of rust and leaks.
2.Super compatibility
Compatible with a wide range of roof types, such as standing seam, trapezoidal corrugated, and corrugated sheet metal, and supports different roof slopes and panel pitches.
3.Quick Installation
Pre-assembled rails and snap on fixture design increase installation speed by 40% and reduce labour costs.
4.Wind and Seismic Resistance
Dynamic load test passed UL 2703 standard, wind resistance up to 160km/h, seismic performance in accordance with ASCE 7-16 requirements.
5.Anti-corrosion and durable
Anodised aluminium alloy or hot-dipped galvanised steel, salt spray corrosion resistant (1000 hours test), life cycle with the roof (25 years +).
6.Flexible Expansion
Modular rail system, supports horizontal or vertical expansion, easily adapted to future solar panel upgrade needs.

Installation Instructions
1.Tool preparation: rubber mallet, torque spanner, level, metal cutter (if needed to cut rails), sealant (for penetration installation).
Step-by-Step Guide:
2.Roof Inspection
Confirm metal roof type (e.g., standing seam height, panel spacing), structural strength and corrosion, clean installation area.
3.Fixture Positioning
According to the solar panel layout, mark fixture locations along the metal roof seams or crests to ensure that the spacing meets the load requirements.
4.Mounting Fixture
Non-penetrating: Snap the S-5 fixture into the upright locking seam and lock with a torque spanner to the specified value (e.g. 25Nm).
5.Penetrating: Drill holes and fit waterproof gasket and sealant, secure base and ensure complete sealing.
6.Fixing guide rails
Connect the aluminium guide rail to the fixture, adjust the level and lock the bolts, the length of the guide rail can be cut to fit the roof size.
7.Adjusting the tilt angle
Set the optimum tilt angle with the adjustable bracket (recommended local latitude ±5°) and lock the angle fixture.
8.Installation of solar panels
Embed the panels in the rails, fix them with stainless steel clamps, check that there is no pressure overload at the contact points.
9.Sealing and Testing
Apply sealant to penetration mounting points, carry out drench test to ensure no leaks, clean up site tools.
10.Safety tips:
Avoid installation in extreme weather (high/low temperatures) to prevent metal expansion causing errors.
Use non-slip shoes and safety harnesses to ensure that you are stepping on the crest of the metal roof.

FAQ
Q1: Does it work with all metal roof types?
A: Compatible with Standing Seam, Corrugated, Ribbed, etc. Roof type must be provided to confirm fixture suitability.
Q2: Will the installation damage the waterproof layer of the roof?
A: Non-penetrating fixtures do not require drilling and protect the roof 100%; penetrating installations use multi-layer sealing (EPDM gasket + silicone) to ensure waterproof performance.
Q3: What is the maximum tolerable snow load?
A: The static load of the system is ≥5400Pa (about 550kg/m²), which meets the requirements of most high snow pressure areas (e.g. North America, Northern Europe).
Q4: What is the wind resistance performance?
A: Passed UL 2703 wind tunnel test, the wind resistance level reaches 160km/h, and the wind-resistant cable can be attached to enhance the stability.
Q5: Does it need regular maintenance?
A: It is recommended to check the clamp tightness, sealant status and rail connection points every 2 years to remove any dust or corrosion build-up.
Q6: Is the installation angle of the metal roof adjustable?
A: It supports 5°~45° tilt angle adjustment, some models need optional adjustable bracket kit.
Q7: Can I install it by myself?
A: Non-penetrating fixtures can be DIY, but the torque specification should be strictly followed; Penetrating installation is recommended to be operated by a professional team to ensure the sealing.
Q8: How long is the product warranty?
A: 20 years warranty for bracket structure and 10 years warranty for waterproof accessories (installation records need to be kept).
Q9: Does it have any effect on the original roof warranty?
A: The use of certified fixtures (e.g. S-5 compatible products) and standardised installation will not normally affect the original metal roof warranty.
Q10: Is it compatible with Micro Reverse or Optimiser systems?
A: The rails are pre-wired for cable management and are compatible with Enphase, SolarEdge and other mainstream systems.
